Wenatchee among state's worst for wood smoke pollution
The Wenatchee World Online
Last winter, Wenatchee had 42 days when air quality hit unhealthy levels between Oct. 1 and March 31, and 25 days with a burn ban in effect, said Ecology spokeswoman Joye Redfield-Wilder. It was the worst winter in the recent memory.
